Redman's Chicken & Rib

Great southern style entrées, and sides! Being from the south, I was very excited to see fried okra and collard greens on the menu! The fried chicken and banana pudding were also excellent!

Geneva doesn’t have a ton going on, and without a car it can be tough to get around but Redman’s is absolutely worth the walk! Owner Redman goes above and beyond, greeting regulars by name and showing real love for his community. Come hungry, and whatever you do, don’t skip the collard greens!

Food was excellent. I ordered the whole wing dinner with fried okra and crinkle fries and my husband ordered the haddock dinner with greens and fried okra. No complaints at all. Food was fresh,seasoned well and hot. They cook the meat to order so be prepared to wait but it is well worth it. The owner and his wife are wonderful people. He also builds tiny homes( in case you need one) and showed us his latest creation. His story is amazing from buying a small hotdog stand and building it out with his own hands. Portions are large so be prepared to take food with you. The owner even gave us a sample of some food he was cooking(chicken and rice). Everything tasted like mom’s or grandma’s cooking. Food was wonderful! I had the fried chicken and it was done to perfection. My friend got the pulled pork and it was scrumptious. We were very impressed with the staff, they were so friendly and considerate. The owner chatted with us for a bit also. We will be back.

Great spot for southern food. I had the best fried chicken I have ever ate, and it came fresh out of the frier. You’ll feel right at home in this place too. It’s cozy, warm, and the employees are friendly and inviting.
