Red Top Hot Dogs

I love Red Top! It has been a family tradition to go there a few times each summer with my kids, since 1993. It's a small place. All seats are outside which just contributes to the nostalgia. They use wardynski hot dogs, which in my opinion, are the best. The workers are very friendly. Very nice people. Cash only. Reasonably priced. I would recommend going here. And I will continue to go each summer.

Service was good Portions were tiny, and everything was overpriced. In my opinion, for what you get, the banana milkshake was the worst I have ever tasted in my life. The place is run down. I won't be surprised if it closes soon. It used to be a nice spot when I was a kid, but nobody seems to care .

Yikes. Just want to start this by saying there’s a place down the road, go there. Went there for a quick lunch with my family. It wasn’t busy and yet every order was messed up or items forgotten while I was there. The first lady had her fries forgotten. The second had her chips or something forgotten and she simply asked me what I got because she didn’t know. I ordered 2 hot dogs, a cheeseburger and onion rings. I believe I was charged a to go container (never got one). And look at those $3+ onion rings. Laughable. The lady grabbed my food with her bare hand and then said “Oops” aloud knowing her mistake. And my onion rings were chewy and soft. Cash only, but that’s not a big deal. Still can’t believe it was like 5 chewy onion rings for $3+.

Food wasn’t much to brag about. It this is a very old school place and it’s kinda respectable for keeping it that way. Big thing is it’s cash only and all seating is outside not the worst as you get a bit of a glimpse of the lake. Personally not a fan of the open style help your self to the condiments as there’s flys flying around.

Love this place. Best place to come for some original hamburgers hot dogs milkshakes Italian sausage. Everything is delicious made quickly only thing is they only accept cash no credit cards but it's worth it. Great summer staple for my family for years and years to come.
