Red Stripe

Sat at the bar Joe was our bartender. He was so attentive to questions, knowledgeable and interactive with us. Had 4 rice balls appetizer, entree was Honey Salmon, Short Rib that was so tender, soooo good, Sangria was great, they have a quite a dessert list, I got my favorite coffee ice cream, you never see that on a menu. Prices were very reasonable even the play list was nice. Such a great experience. Will definitely be going back.

Super good experience at Red Stripe. Went for Thanksgiving dinner. Food was outstanding, portions were generous, drinks were top notch and dessert was fabulous. The entire staff was friendly and helpful...like a well oiled machine. Our server was the loveliest young gal, could not have been any sweeter. A perfect holiday dinner. We will be back. Well done!

The short rib grilled cheese and tomato soup was delicious!! Fish and chips was huge. Also got the crab crusted cod.

I'm surprised to see this place has only 4.4 stars because the experience I had was nothing less than 5. It was my birthday and I wanted searched through Providence looking for scallops. I found Red Stripe and decided to reserve here and I'm glad I did. The restaurant itself is beautiful and in a lovely area of Providence. There's a small lot in the back and plenty of street parking. The staff immediately noted my birthday and did a great job making me feel special. I wish I had grabbed my waitress' name because she was excellent. We started with the crispy artichokes which were delicious. I had the fisherman's platter and there was an ample amount of food. The food was excellent, and our server, Zach, was very attentive and frequently checked up on my group despite it being a busy Saturday night. He was very funny, and his great energy made my friend’s birthday a memorable night. We will definitely be coming again!!
