Red Apple Pancake House

If you need a good breakfast spot, here it is. Great job with my eggs and breakfast overall. Hash browns were good and pancakes hit the spot. Also tried the panini and I was completely satisfied. The restaurant was clean, and the service was great and attentive. My server was April and she was excellent and kept my coffee cup filled without asking. If you’re in the area, come out and support this local restaurant and avoid chains!

I had heard great things about this spot in Carol Stream, so we decided to check it out. The food did not disappoint—it was fantastic! Even on a weekday morning, the restaurant was bustling with activity. Despite how busy it was, the service was impressively quick. We ordered the club sandwich, the classic breakfast, and chicken soup, all of which were delicious. The coffee was also good. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes.

This place is truly a gem! I can't tell you how many times I've driven by and thought, I should totally try this place! Today was the day and I'm so glad we did! First, let's talk about the service! April was our waitress today and she was fantastic! She went above and beyond! Answered all our questions, brought out a little snack for our little one while we waited for our food. Just so great! The food was wonderful! Diner like and what you'd expect quality wise. Big portions and overall delish! Overall the place is great and we will definitely be back!!

Love the apple tree, so beautiful. The food is good, and I love getting actual hot coffee. My friends rave over the waffles in this restaurant, and now I can see why. It was crispy and soft in the middle. The blue berries on it were not overly sweet. The bacon was crispy!

Places like Red Apple Pancake House are part of what I like to call the quintessential suburban experience. A thriving and bustling breakfast/lunch place at the near border of Carol Stream/Wheaton, Red Apple is a venerable and venerated establishment that has been around for ages. Stepping in a little after 11am on a Sunday, it comes as no surprise that the atmosphere was genial, pleasant, and full of the hum of people enjoying delicious meals of varying types. My server was a kind, friendly, and polite individual, easy to talk to, and sold me on the large cup of hot chocolate I had before my meal arrived.
