Carol Stream Public Library

Very cute library with nice walking paths outside and a very fun children's section with lots of toys and trains and centers

I had an excellent experience at this library, specifically thanks to an employee named Vanessa. My friend and I visited this morning to prepare for my job interview but were ineligible for a library card as we are not residents. Vanessa clearly explained the guest policy for the study rooms but was incredibly accommodating when she learned of our circumstances. She granted us a one-time exception to use the room for an extended period, which was instrumental in my preparation. Her professionalism and willingness to help were truly outstanding. Thank you for the wonderful support!

This morning (April 26), the crew was the best in the library — very polite and professional. On other days, the crew acts like it's not a kids' zone but a prison.

I had a great experience at the library — the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Athens, who proctored my exam. He did a fantastic job, remained patient despite some miscommunication from my university, and made sure I was in a comfortable and quiet space. He guided the entire process with professionalism, kindness, and a truly human touch! I’m very grateful for his support.

Our first time here and we had a lovely time. The staff was very nice and helpful as soon as we walked in. It's very clean and quiet in the evening and our son had a lot of fun with so many activities.
