Red Angel Pizza

The 20" all meat pizza is still the same excellent quality as when it was introduced a few years ago - loaded with meat, excellent home-made sauce, and covered with mozzarella cheese! It's great because it feeds the entire crew with plenty of leftovers for the next day. Keep up the good work, Red Angel Pizza - Hicksville!

Let me start off with I enjoy their pizza. I walked into the establishment Thursday night at 8:40pm. I was told that I could only get deep fried food or possibly a grinder. I had planned on buying 2 large pizzas and breadsticks so probably 60-70 dollars worth of food however they weren’t doing pizza. They sign on the front of the door said they were open until 9pm I’m not sure what the issue was I get it nobody likes someone coming in last minute however 20’minutes isn’t so much last minute. As soon as I said ok thank you and walked back out the door they proceeded to shut the lights off. Mind you the two employees were just sitting in a booth and by the cash register. Oh well I suppose the pizza is good and I had talked this place up. Hometown came thru for me.

Positives first: the online ordering and payment process were super easy, the pizza was ready right on time, and the staff was friendly when I arrived. Unfortunately, the pizza itself was a huge disappointment. We ordered the 16” taco pizza, and it just wasn’t good. My boyfriend wasn’t a huge fan of the pickle chips, but the bigger issue was the pizza crust — it had a strange taste that neither of us could get past. We love pizza, and this was the first time we couldn’t enjoy any of it. After a couple bites, we tried scraping off the toppings to salvage it as a taco salad, but the tomatoes tasted off too, and that completely killed our appetite. I don’t remember selecting a crust type online, so if it was gluten-free or missing an ingredient, that might explain the odd taste. Either way,

The customer should not be held responsible for the website errors. If the website gives you the option to do each half of the pizza with different toppings how is the customer supposed to know it is wrong? Especially their first time ever ordering from the business. They need better people skills.

Been searching for a new pizza place for several months, a co worker told my wife about Hicksville red angel so I made the 20 minute drive and got it tonight. Looks like we do not need to look any further… Pizza was Excellent, the young man behind counter was extremely polite and the restaurant was clean.
