Real Italian Gusto

I avoided this lovely place for 10 long years thinking they didn't have GF options (and why would I want to torture myself?). I'm happy to say they can swap out any pasta now with GF penne (except lasagne!) and even made my lemon chicken piccata with vegetables without flour so I could enjoy it too! Very fresh, delicious food.

Wonderful atmosphere!! Authentic and delicious Italian food that makes you feel like you’re in Italy. The tiramisu cocktail is a must! Thank you Francesca for the amazing food and lovely dining experience. Can’t wait to come back soon!

This is the fourth major party that I have hosted here. They never disappoint. Management is fantastic. The staff is equally as fantastic and the food is the best. Can’t wait to do it again!

Great location having views of Mystic river. The starters, pizzas, drinks, and desserts are amazing and super delicious. The pizzas tastes original Italian ones. We tried gelatos, espresso, and affogato as desserts and they were all good. Definitely recommend this place.

Overall, the experience at Real Italian Gusto was good. The atmosphere, service, and price were all commendable. However, the food was just okay. The caprese salad was a letdown as the tomatoes were not ripe and hard.
