Ray's Real Pizza

Amazing I will be coming back! The owner Marco really made my day, he’s a really great guy and I’m glad I came into this pizza shop today, not only is the pizza done well but the atmosphere is very pleasant. If you’re in the area show some love to this place, it really is worth visiting if you’re craving some good pizza done right!

I stopped by Ray’s Real Pizza recently and tried the thin Margarita pie, and it was honestly one of the best Margarita pizzas I’ve had. The crust was perfectly done—light, crisp, and full of flavor. The ingredients tasted fresh and balanced really well. What I appreciated the most was how clean it felt. It didn’t feel heavy or greasy like a lot of pizza can be. It actually felt light and fresh, and I left feeling great instead of weighed down. The service was also excellent—friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Walking in from out of state, I could tell right away this was gonna be good pizza. People shouting to family in Italian (sorry if it was actually Sicilian and I was mistaken) and the smell of garlic filled the air. One of those fine dining vibes with a paper cloth over real tablecloth whether you're in for an entree or just a classic slice of 'za. I tried the white pizza with ricotta...first time having ricotta on my pizza but I love it in other dishes. It was delightful. The garlic knots were actual bread rolls smothered in an appropriate amount of tasty garlic sauce, not like the sad drizzle you get from a chain pizza joint. Tasted the red sauce, very nice with that NJ sweetness my husband swears all pizzas from NJ have. Would come back again, if we find ourselves out this way in the

The food at Ray’s Pizza is outstanding. It is delicately flavored. The food is made with quality ingredients by people who care. The delivery service is spot on, and the prices are good. What else could you want? My compliments to Ray and his staff!

I have been living in Hazlet now for almost 3 years and had only tried Ray's for the first time a few weeks ago. I'm so bummed that I took so long to order from their because it was sooooooo good!!!!!! I personally think it's better than Villa, Romeo's, and Italian Touch which have been our 3 got to's since living here. Can't wait to order there again!!!! We got their knots which were freaking amazeballs and their cheesteak was also divine they use legit Italian bread not that soft stuff that get soggy by the time you're ready to eat, and their margherita pie which was saucey, garlicky, and perfect! 10 out of 10 recommend!
