I started out with the 1/2 order of oysters which were delicious. Only problem is their half order is actually a 1/4 order for $14. It isn't stated on the menu or mentioned by the server. Anywhere I have gone, oysters are 12 for a full, 6 for half. Theirs came out with 3 for a half order. Second, the tuna poke bowl was horrible. The tuna was excellent, but the rice was overcooked to the point of crunchy. The server said she has heard that complaint in the past. Knowing this has happened in the past, how are there not protocols to catch this before it goes out to the customer? The mahi tacos were cold. They were advertised as such, but cold mahi isn't my jam. Just seems like a lazy way to prepare IMO. The spicy marg and service were good.
Been waiting to come here and finally use our Finns gift card. Cocktails were good. Husband ordered a half order of the oysters. Said they were really good but note that there is only 3 of them for $14 instead of the usual 6 in a half order. He ordered the tuna poke bowl and said the tuna was fantastic, but the rice was way overcooked and hard and crunchy and didn’t love all the ginger in it. I ordered the fish tacos noting they were mahi but I overlooked that the tacos are completely chilled so that was a surprise, but on me since I didn’t read that clearly. Portion and flavor was good, but cold fish tacos were just…odd. Felt like I was eating leftovers? A table nearby ordered the lobster roll and the sliders and those did look really good. We tried using our gift card but alas Finn’s
Cool place and good service. I would recommend as somewhere to go for drinks but if you’re looking for good food probably not the place. We both had the fish tacos and they were just not good at all.
$22 for a scotch. Fish tacos were cold and lacking actual fish. Never going back.
Fun new spot in Spring Lake. Love the rooftop atmosphere. Food was fine, but go for the setting.
