Customer Reviews
Let me preface this review by saying we were celebrating FOUR birthdays with a party of ELEVEN when we visited Radici, for the first time, this month. Yes, we made reservations. We were welcomed with an open door and the host acknowledging me by name when we walked in. We were seated at a twelve-top in the center of the small dining room. Most of our service was handled by one server, Cheryl, who was absolutely fantastic. This was our one complaint to the night. The dining space is small, and while they weren’t full when we went, it was loud. It was hard to hear/visit with our family and friends who had driven from as far as Richardson and Waco to join us. We could’ve been seated a little farther away from the smaller tables so we could enjoy each other as much as we enjoyed the food. Now,
I celebrated my 19th wedding anniversary at Radici with some of my closest friends, and it was truly a night to remember. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. They took the time to walk us through the menu, thoughtfully recommending dishes and wine pairings for each of us—and every choice felt perfectly curated. The chefs were engaged and attentive, preparing our food quickly while still putting so much care into every detail. The presentation was stunning, the ambiance was warm and elevated, and everything just felt special. And the oxtail pasta… absolutely unforgettable. Hands down my favorite dish of the night—rich, comforting, and beautifully executed. It’s the kind of meal that stays with you long after the evening ends.
This was a restaurant my sister chose for her birthday. What a great fine dinning experience. From the greeter at the front Door to the table and every server had a smile. That sweet tea is holy! 😆 🤣 😂 I think I had 6 glasses in the 2 hours that I was there. It's was Campbell soup mmmmmmmmm good! I had the Wagyu steak with the vegetable medley which had a little spice. I hate spicy and I never understand why my mouth has to burn while I eat my food. I did make mention and they said they would remake it without it. Wow, now that's service! But I ate it, I'll know next time. Yes, I had dessert! My, my, my! That German chocolate cake with caramel poured on top of it until I said stop was magically delicious! My sister had the pistachio cake! Good gosh O mighty! It had some orange something
This is our 2nd time to visit Radici in Grand Prairie. Each time we have been blown away by the food, service and attention to detail by the staff. You get the feeling that every single person that works here, from the bartender to the chef and especially, our waiter for both trips James, have a personal stake in the restaurant and a sense of pride in their positions. Something that is incredibly rare in this day and age. I want to try to describe how amazing the food is here but there is no way I can do it justice, you just need to do yourself a favor and come here yourself.
The true star of the meal was undoubtedly the focaccia bread with the garlic on top—it absolutely stole the show! It was a perfect start, setting a high bar for the rest of the meal. The main dishes held their own as well. The branzino was good, and the accompanying veggies were immaculate, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Italian sodas weren't bad either, offering a refreshing complement to the food. As for the Chicken Parm, well, it's a reliable classic. It hit the mark without offering any major surprises. Overall, it was a meal featuring some serious high notes, led by that phenomenal garlic focaccia!
