1 Stop Shop and Taqueria (Hecho En Casa Monterrey )

The taqueria is inside a small convenience like store in a very unassuming small shopping strip. Don't let that fool you! The food is authentic & full of flavor! We're here at noon on a Sunday with a steady stream of people, but not packed. The service is friendly and fairly quick. You place your order at the window and pay at the convenience store register. This was our first time trying this place, thanks to the magic of Facebook reels! We (2 of us) ordered the 3 Taco plate - comes with rice and beans ($11.99), 4 tacos al vapor - comes with cabbage and tomato ($12.99) and 2 trompo ($2.99/ea) and 1 barcacoa ($3.09/ea) - Total was $38.96 because we bought 2 bottles of water. It was a lot but we wanted to try a couple of different things. A la carte tacos come with grilled onions

Just stopped by and the tacos were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and well made. Customer service was great, very friendly and attentive. The place was clean and the service was fast. Overall a great experience, highly recommend!

Eating here was the best taco Tuesday decision I’ve ever made!! I’m not even exaggerating 😮‍💨 My brother and I got our order taken by Fernando and he explained what meats/proteins applied for the $1 Taco Tuesday! We ordered ten tacos: 2 ground beef, 3 shredded beef and 5 chicken and they came with grilled and diced onions, cilantro and lime!!!! Sooooo so good. We enjoyed the grounded beef mainly because of the flavor. Chicken came in close second and we rated the shredded beef last! The cashier was also really sweet and accommodating. Praying I see more people on Tuesdays 🤍🤍

Our first visit and it won’t be the last. We placed a to-go order and our food was cooked well and flavorful. They are not taking over-the-phone orders or have a website up currently, but It was definitely worth the trip. Support a local business and get some great food in return!

Great experience. I will be back. The food was cooked perfectly check with the gentleman at the Register before consuming any alcohol. Just a courtesy to there.
