Tacos 956

I totally recommend the tacos de bistec and the pastor, with the caramel unions. The bean were watery with very little flavor. Maybe next time. We will definitely be back for more tacos.🌮

My husband and I are from Brownsville, Texas, and we had been craving some authentic valley-style tacos. We’re so glad we stopped by this food truck—the tacos de bistec and pastor were absolutely delicious! The meat was flavorful and tender, and the toppings of fresh Mexican cheese, avocado, onions, and cilantro made every bite even better. The beans, however, were a bit disappointing. They were watery and lacked flavor, which was a letdown compared to the tacos. The agua fresca de pepino with lime also needed a little more punch—it was refreshing, but could use more lime and cucumber to really stand out. Overall, the tacos are definitely worth coming back for, and with a few tweaks to the sides and drinks, this spot could easily become a go-to for valley taco cravings. 🌮

Tacos 956 is by far, the BEST tacos I’ve had in the area! We ordered a bit of everything and it was ALL great! The Piratas are the star though. The agua de limon is very refreshing. The owners are great. The vibe is cool. It’s an awesome spot for a casual date night. My only regret is not having tried it sooner! We will definitely be returning.

Nahhhhhh you have to try this place. No question this is delicious. I've had my fair share of tacos around DFW. This one is up there. Balanced flavor. Very cute little corner they have with some music. Highly recommend. I'm lucky this is only couple minutes from my house 🥰
