Customer Reviews
Whoever hired and trained the high school aged associates that took care of our family and interacted and entertained our very lively toddler last night..... you couldn't have done it any more right! These folks were spot on. They were kind, courteous, attentive, and most importantly, they were genuine. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Every associate we spoke to aimed to please. To no surprise, our food was exceptional. By far the best visit we've ever had, and we've been going here for years. Hands down, best place to eat in Waxhaw!
Queens South is a cool little bar and grill with slices available on Thursdays and kids 12 and under eat free on Sundays. Pizza was pretty good and my wife really enjoyed the French Onion Soup. Pretzel appetizer was really good as well. If you are coming in to watch football, you really need to sit in the bar portion of the restaurant, as there is only 1 TV on the restaurant side.
We were less than impressed with the food here 😬 the staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was appealing enough, but I fear our meals could have been better. We did enjoy the appetizer of chips with blue cheese and honey! An interesting combination but it works! The kids mentioned that their burger came out wrong but said the fries were good. There were a few flies buzzing about during our meal which I attribute to being sat by the door. I understand that nothing is perfect but our experience was mediocre at best. None the less, we'd give this spot a try again. Perhaps a date night would bode for a better outcome.
This was our second time in. First time for brunch. Really tasty! Kinda pricy but that’s just everywhere nowadays I think… The waitresses were sweet to my kiddo. The place was clean. I’ll be back again!
NOTICE: Every year, Queens South has T-shirts made and all proceeds are donated to Tunnels to Towers!! I’ve included pictures of T-shirts from the last few years!! The Littles and I needed a place that was open late and had great reviews. Google sent us to Queens South, Waxhaw. There was a little bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it! The atmosphere was fun and lively. The menu offered a wide variety of entrees. We all ordered something different and tasted a bite off each plate. The food was Amazing y’all!! Even though the place was packed, our server, Amanda, handled it all flawlessly! Queens South was opened a little over six years ago by Chuck and Donna. Donna was there, working just as hard as her employees. That alone says so much!
