Fiance and are are def foodies, we always try something when were somewhere new. Saw this place on instagram and it looked pretty good. The food did not dissapoint, everything was seasoned well and flavorful. Green beans and shrimp were right on the line of too salty but still very good. The catfish, chicken wings, mac and cheese, and greens were on point. We also tried carrot cake and the strawberry cheescake. Very happy with this place!

You’re actually insane if you think this place is gross or nasty. First off I moved from Philly where we got a lot of soul food spots out there and THIS BABY .. oh this is where it’s at. The Mac is seasoned and baked to perfection the wings were crispy and had amazing flavor and the yams lord don’t even get me started on those candied yams ! Go head yall You won my heart!

THE BESTTTT Soul food in Delaware and I’m picky about food born and raised from California but lemme tell you this food is well seasoned, clean and they not greedy with portions. I got Mac & Cheese Cat fish and Fries. Pictures speak for itself. Good vibes really nice family and people here 🔥🔥🔥🔥💵💖❤️😍

Today is 1/30/26 and my first time TRYING to order from this restaurant. I called at 1:15pm and was told they’re not taking orders until 1:30pm even though it opens at 1:00pm I called back at 1:45pm and was told they’re not taking orders until 2:30pm. So I drove up there and knocked on the door at 3:00pm and some guy gave me a dirty look and just turned back around. I was told this was the best food in Delaware so I remained patient and gave them grace. I don’t leave reviews often and when I do it’s upon the request of an establishment for a 5 star. This place is disrespectful. If you’re still around in the future hopefully you’ll have better management and I’ll try again. Everything starts at the very top. Tragic!

I ordered food off UBER EATS 1/7/25 and JUST like I knew it would be there was a problem! I placed an order for garlic Parmesan wings, Mac and greens. WITH A SIDE OF YAMS ( I do NOT want the yam juice on my other food.) So basically I have no vegetables with all this heavy ass food and 2 portions of yams when I ordered 1. I called the store and ALL I got was excuses. We tried to call u twice to let u know we r out of greens and string beans, ur vcml is full etc... If it was a 267 943 number, I said hello twice and no one said anything so I hung up and blocked the number! I wasn't pleased with the way THIS was handled and they guy that answered with a NY accent was thee worst and his manager wasn't much better. Actually this might be my last visit cause I just saw macaroni noodles in my ya
