Sidebar Cafe (Downtown Wilmington, DE)

Great place to grab a bite in Wilmington, DE! It’s located in bank building lobby but it has great vibes and quick service! My sausage, egg and cheese was perfection on the homemade sourdough bread! The strawberry crunch pound cake was ridiculously good and the coffee was fresh! The owner Michelle was sweet and had stickers to choose from. Order at counter or kiosk which is convenient.

I generally don’t review places too often, but this delightful little Cafe absolutely deserves to be talked about!!! 😄😄 I was truly blown away by this spot. It’s a wife and husband duo that runs the place & they are just a breath of fresh air. ❤️ First of all the customer service is outstanding. From the moment I walked in I felt extremely welcomed! The wife was very patient with me & extremely helpful. She asked if it was my first time & when I said yes she automatically started guiding me through menu items and answering all questions I had. She even pulled out a slideshow for me to look at while I waited! Then she told me to choose a sticker, she had the cutest little variety of stickers to choose from. 💗 I told her I needed caffeine, so she suggested adding extra espresso to my carame

This was a gem of a stop on our journey home to Maine. We stopped in for coffees, salads, and sandwiches for our train ride. The owner and Milo were quick and efficient at making our order. They were great about making sure that every detail was just right! If we come back to Wilmington we will definitely be stopping in again!

This is a must stop for your breakfast needs. It's ran by a great husband and wife duo. The service is unmatched, the food is amazing, and the smoothies are out of this world. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in town.

These folks are just a joy! You can tell they love what they do and put love into their creations. I devoured a delicious egg sandwich, add bacon and cheese, on homemade sourdough alongside an iced coffee. 10/10 would crush again! They have a side area to dine in or relax at as well! So it’s not just a kiosk!
