Q-BBQ

I had the Lil Q Platter which is the equivalent of 2 meals for me. It comes with 5 choices of meat, hush puppies, and your choice of 2 sides. The pulled pork and pulled chicken were delicious. The beef brisket burnt ends with spicy aioli was also very good. For the sides I got the mac & cheese and mexican street corn. Both were fire!! The service was exceptional. It was our first time and they explained the menu in detail and gave their recommendations. There is also a side station for condiments, silverware, and pickles! You can load up some to go containers with some dills before you go like I did. If you’re looking for good bbq at a reasonable price, definitely stop by Q BBQ!

Visited Monday for brisket, and a small Mexican street corn. Food was terrible, and very small portions for price. The brisket was slathered in sauce, and super salty. The pieces were basically just shreds of meat. The Mexican street corn had minimal flavor, shouldn’t even be compared to Elote. Mission BBQ is wayyyy wayyyy better and Fire Water BBQ is decent too. Even Famous Dave’s in North Riverside is better than this Q BBQ. Never again. The customer service was probably the only good thing about my experience unfortunately.

The turkey was spot on and the ribs were literally falling off the bone. The portion size is quite small for the price. I strongly believe you are better off dining in rather than delivery!!

Alright, I’m a BBQ snob and this place has me sold. I honestly think I’ve eaten more brisket than anyone I know. This is the closest thing I’ve had to BBQ down in Texas. Smoke flavor is great, brisket is cut correctly with just enough fat. I’m impressed. The service is whatever but the food itself is awesome. The Memphis sauce on the table is sweet and that’s my favorite when it comes to BBQ sauce. If you want a quick bite to eat in this area, and enjoy BBQ you will love it.

Good food. You get a sandwich and 2 hushpuppies if you order sandwich. Not much comes with it. I think meat can be more flavor. Seems like to get the flavor, you have to add the sauce that's on table.
