The Bellbird Bakeshop

Bellbird is the best!! This bakery is truly a gem and everything they make is delicious. We have been going at least once a week since they opened and I always look forward to seeing what new items are in rotation. Our favorites are the croissants, scones, cookies and breakfast sandwich :) But truly everything we’ve had has been incredible. Added bonus is how kind and helpful all of the staff are! We tell everyone we know that they need to check out Bellbird if they’re in the LaGrange area!

The place is super busy. Walked in around 8:15 and the line was crazy—but they move pretty fast. This is my second time at this bakery, and both times it’s been insanely busy, which only tells me one thing: amazing coffee and baked goods. They’ve got everything from savory to sweet, and it’s all worth the wait.

Best breads and pastries available in the area! I’m there every weekend. Only reason they get 4 stars for atmosphere and service is that they’re often so full (weekends) with eager customers that the line reaches the door and the small space gets very crowded. (They just made new hires that handle the lines, so they move pretty quick.) Most people carry out, so it’s usually easy to find a seat or a table.

Love everything here, the best pastries I've had in all of Chicagoland. My top favourites are the scones, kougin amann and the croissants. A must visit bakeshop!! Also worth mentioning the people who work here are the sweetest!

Wow! Everything I’ve had here is amazing! The pastries are top notch & so well executed. The vintage vanilla cake was moist & not too sweet. The lemon poppy seed cake was yummy. I enjoyed the salted chocolate chip cookie as well. The banana pudding was super creamy & delish. My absolute favorite pastry was the pain suisse which melts in your mouth & has this nice crisp to it. It was divine! So happy this amazing bakery is in my area!
