Out of all the restaurants in Boston, this is hands down the place I frequent the most. The seasonal tasting menu is $85 with generous portions with one of the most thoughtful wine pairings that actually elevate the food to another dimension. Having tried a lot of "high-end" tasting menus in NY, I would say this place absolutely ranks up there with some of the best restaurants. Their pastry chef is hands down the best - never skip dessert here because it actually is incredibly imaginative and delicious. I recently visited Puritan & Company for Dine Out Boston and had a very enjoyable dinner. The atmosphere was lively, especially after 6 PM when the restaurant filled up quickly. Service was attentive and friendly, and the bathrooms were clean—a detail I always appreciate. To start, I ordered the Citrus & Tonic mocktail. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it. Mine was about 80% ice, lacked flavor punch, and for the price, the portion of actual drink was disappointing compared to similar mocktails I’ve had at other restaurants in this range. From the first course, I tried the chopped salad, which was fine but on the basic side and could have used a bit more flavor. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Boston area. We have never had a dish that is not absolutely incredible! We did the tasting menu this time and it was so fun trying new dishes that aren’t even on the menu! There are always exciting new dishes and the drinks are also interesting and perfectly crafted. Definitely recommend for any date night!! Our server was Pauline and she was incredible and helped to fill us in on more information about the dishes we were trying!

The food was amazing. I highly recommend the crab salad, it was fresh and delicious. Bryan was a delight and truly deserves a raise! He was so knowledgeable about the menu items and kept complimenting the amazing chef, which made the experience even better. We will definitely be coming back!

Overall the food was creative and tasty . Some of the dishes were incredible while others were good. We ordered east coast oysters which were very fresh and briny. Beets and Burrata salad was delicious. Burrata was fresh and creamy, the beets and oranges added a nice kick to the salad. Crab cavatelli, garlic shrimp and pan roasted cod were good but not dishes we would return for. What was outstanding was the bone marrow. Very delicious and the taste, texture and sauce were amazing. It is the dish I definitely recommend together with the east coast oysters (if you like raw briny oysters).
