Pupatella

Ordered a pizza, dough was dense and chewy, sauce was ok, not great. The ziti with meatballs was a complete joke, enough sauce to coat 4 noodles in total, and I don't even think they cooked the pasta with salt, awful and dry, just look at the picture, lol.

I had to come back and sing praises for our server, John. Absolutely, unqualifyingly fabulous. He was detailed, and asked questions to get our order just right. He was the perfect amount of conviviality, without lording over us. Kind, pleasant, personable and knowledgeable. Other staff were happily attentive as well. Just a really great meal experience! Thanks for a sweet start to 2026.

This location is always excellent. Started with the Frittura sampler. One sausage arancino, one eggplant arancino, one panzarotto and two fried mozzarella balls with marinara (only one in photo because my hungry toddler has the fastest hands in the East). Peak aroncini. The method is flawless. Other than changing the flavors of the ingredients to suit personal tastes, you couldn't get better. The marinara is a little oversweet for my tastes, but it's great for what it is. The Diavola was our red sauce choice. Spicy salami, fresh mozzarella, basil. We love Pupatella! We have been coming here for the last 2+ years and have had a great experience every time. Our kids love their garlic bread, pizzas and zeppole with Nutella. My favorite is the Burrata pizza but every pizza I’ve ordered has been delicious. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good quality pizza!

After hearing soooo many reviews about Pupatella I was fortunate to be near one at lunch time on a weekday and have friends meet me there, so we tried a few different pies that we all shared. When it comes to toppings, they do as good a job as most better pizza joints, so I won’t go into the specific toppings we chose, other than to say they were spot-on what we expected and we were very happy with them. Since it seems that process and crust are more contentious I’ll talk about those two… We had “heard” that their crust can be rather soft, so we asked for our pizza to be cooked slightly longer and they immediately knew what we were referring to and all three pizzas came out very similar and the crusts were perfectly done.
