We were visiting New York from Canada. Got to know about this great sweets shop in Hicksville area by relatives What a great place to be. Their sweets (khoya barfi) are shop made and fresh. I loved the taste. We tried their Gajar halwa. Awesome ! Bapu ji at cash was super happy soul. Loved their hospitality( a complimentary masala tea) was great. Thank you Punjabi dhaba team for providing indian sweets in Ny.

We got the saag combo, palak paneer and dal makhni. The dal was soooo good. The food tastes yummy and homemade and absolutely love that they gave unlimited complimentary lassi. Recommended

We went here for my birthday dinner with friends and honestly it turned out to be such a comforting experience. When the owner came to know it was my birthday, he was extremely sweet and even offered to bring a cake on his own. When we said no, he gave us sweets and blessings instead. That warmth really meant a lot. The food is not restaurant or hotel style — it tastes exactly like home food, the kind you eat at your mom’s place. That’s actually what we loved most about it. Simple, comforting, and filling. We ordered chole bhatura, dahi bhalla, samosa chaat, baingan bharta, yellow moong dal tadka, garlic naan, and tandoori roti.
