Bikanervala Hicksville

It was our first time at this location. We got sev puri, aloo puri, chole bhature and fresh lime soda. Loved that they had a single piece option instead of the usual 2 bhaturas or puris. Food arrived quickly and everything was freshly made. The taste was delicious. Loved the aloo sabji and chole. The decor was welcoming and restrooms were clean. Will surely be back.

Amazing new place - likely the best Indian street food at the time of this writing (Q4 2025) in Long Island, I.e. without crossing over to New Jersey. Huge interior, sparkling clean seating and ordering areas, abundant lighting, plenty of seating (though it gets crowded). Orders are taken at the counter but delivered at the table. We were a large group and ordered a little bit of everything on the menu. The Hakka noodles, chilli paneer, chhola bhatora, tandoori paneer, and stuffed raj kachori were the best dishes at our table. The khandvi was also nicely done. I found the batata puri, rabdi falooda, samosa chat, and Kati roll to be OK but passable, particularly with the other superb options on the menu. We had such a great time at this New spot in New York . The customer service truly stood out — Mr Harjot did an excellent job pairing the food for us, balancing flavors perfectly between the western and northern dishes the recommendation was spot-on! The portions were generous, the prices very reasonable, and the quality of the food was outstanding — real value for money. It’s clear this place takes pride in both their food and their hospitality. A perfect spot for families too — warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food that everyone can enjoy. Highly recommended!

Service, food, and ambiance was excellent!!The place is nice and spacious and clean. I really enjoyed my experience here. I also got the mango lassi and it was sooo good! The flavor of the mango was evident and there were also mango pieces in there which I really liked. Definitely recommend coming here!

If you want to enjoy authentic Indian street food, look no where else and head straight to Bikanervala. This brand is the mother of all Indian restaurants. This specific location is clean, offers broad variety of food and gives fast service. All employees were courteous and help create a comfortable dining experience. Go check these guys out! You won’t regret eating here.
