Pulperia Latin Mediterranean Kitchen

This is a great spot very close to the theaters in the area. Nice cozy place, well decorated and with great service. We had both the Pork and the Seafood Paellas and we started with the croquetas and the burrata. Desserts were the churros and the cheesecake. The Pork Paella had perfect socorrat and perfect presentation while the combination of the seasoning on the rice and the pork was not a perfect match for my palate (but that can be a personal taste and no means a flaw on the chef). The Seafood Paella on the other hand has the perfect seasoning and combination of flavors and also very good execution. Service was impeccable but the restaurant was empty as we went after theater. Super good paella. Didn't skimp on the seafood at all. I hate when paella tastes seafood-y and this didn't at all! We also had the ceviche and it had an interesting sauce on it, in a good way. Would come back if looking for good paella! Also very lively atmosphere

Went here for our dad's 70th birthday expecting just a nice meal after seeing a Broadway show, litte did we know what a hidden gem Pulperia turned out to be. Everything about the experience was above and beyond expectations, especially the service. Our server was particularly informative about the menu, (must try the paella and croquettas!) The meal, the drinks, the atmosphere were amazing. The owner and chef was generous enough to provide complementary champagne for my dad and our party to round out the night. They had great service and always made sure we were okay. Kept our water full and had delicious drinks. They had great music and a great low warm light atmosphere which was definitely a vibe. The food was so delicious and filling. It was flavorful and packed a punch. They had amazing steak and everything about the place was just amazing

Best restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen, no this is not an exaggeration as a Hell’s Kitchen native. The drinks and the food are exquisite beyond measure in a way I have not found in most other restaurants in the area. These were all beyond reason in how well crafted they were. But the true star was the paella, my partner is Spanish and this was the best paella he has ever had. It is phenomenal. I usually disregard reviews where a person mentions the “best” of anything, but we choose this location because we had already had one of the best margaritas of our life. No filler or mixer, true rustic explosion of depth. But when we came for dinner we left a different level of satisfied. Most other paella restaurants in manhattan are so “skimpy” in the quality.
