Puerto Rican Spice Restaurant

The service was great. The ladies explained everything I needed clarification on as this was my 1st time at a Puerto Rican restaurant. The food was delicious. Seasoned simply but so tasty. The pork chop was crispy on the outside and so juicy inside. The yuca was soft and flavorful. The pigeon peas soup reminded me of home in Trinidad and Tobago. The soursop juice was refreshing. I loved the beef empanada, it was well seasoned and crispy and the beef was so tender. I plan to return again. Soon!!

We are down from CT and have tried many similar restaurants up north. Saw the flag flying out front and had to stop. We tried the Pernil with arroz gandules and sweet plantains. Absolutely delicious! This is a must every time we visit now!

Tried Puerto Rican Spice for lunch today. What an awesome meal. Fried chicken chunks for the wife and roast pork mufungo for me. Absolutely delicious! Everything prepared fresh and hot. This is a locally-owned business you should absolutely give a try.

My wife and I stopped into Spice Puerto Rican Restaurant in North Port for the first time, and we were seriously impressed. I ordered the Shrimp Mofongo with garlic sauce and a side of tostones—absolutely packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. My wife had the grilled shrimp with arroz con gandules, and it was just as incredible. The portions were generous, and everything tasted authentic and homemade. Do not leave without trying their house-made flan—it’s the perfect sweet finish to a fantastic meal. We’ll definitely be back. A must-visit spot if you love Puerto Rican cuisine!
