IKOI Sushi & Hibachi

We love this restaurant so much we often visit once a week with my husband and kids. The food is delicious and the restaurant is clean and quaint. We always receive a warm welcome when we arrive and the service is always top notch. Great local gem here in North Port! Definitely check it out you won’t be disappointed.

Glad we decided to try this place out. The sushi was really good and the pricing isn’t too bad. The staff were really friendly. The miso soup and squid salad was also good.

Our new favorite sushi place! Food is outstanding and service is fast and friendly. Our go to appetizer is the crispy calamari which is always great! We tried the seafood soup this time.. yummy!

Ordered the Sushi Deluxe to-go, first time there —I’m very well pleased pleasantly surprised! I will go back. Can’t speak to the atmosphere of dining-in, from what I saw picking up my order it seems quaint —not too many seats, calm environment. There were people enjoying their meals.

We often order food from this restaurant and really enjoy some of their dishes, but today I was very disappointed. I ordered crab rolls, and there was no crab meat inside at all. Instead, I found a whole crab claw with uncleaned contents, tentacles, and lots of shell pieces. I basically had to take the sushi apart and try to clean the crab myself — but there was nothing to clean because there was no meat at all. Literally none. Not a single bit. Very strange and unpleasant quality. I expected a ready-to-eat dish, not to be “processing a crab” inside my sushi.
