Pueblo Viejo Mexican Restaurant

On a long trip to visit relatives? Maybe a business trip? We were on the hunt for something a little more substantial than a fast food restaurant (by that I mean no fast food). We checked google maps and discovered Pueblo Viejo Mexican Restaurant. All our entrees were delicious and served immediately. We were on the road almost too soon! Service was awesome. Yuliana not only made sure our entrees were perfect, but continued to check in on us to make sure everything was just right. Thanks!!

I’ve been dining here regularly for the last 3 years and always loved the food — no complaints at all on that front. But today I got the shock of my life. I was charged $42 for a single cocktail order of Don Julio 1942. I’ve never seen a price like that anywhere. Really disappointed and shocked to see this kind of pricing. This experience definitely changed the way I feel about this place.

And how is it we find ourselves again flesh consuming again upon flesh? Chori-pollo, itself a name calling for a meat upon meat. Why now should I find myself shocked to be eating an animal? It tastes too like many a body eaten, so why now should I question my place in this? My moment of doubt dispersed by my own dark consumption. Teeth and with them comes an appetite. Today we feast.

Taste of food is amazing…. Love the fajitas… but didn’t like the dishonesty of Chef.. I ordered Fajitas without tomatoes and when it came it came with tomatoes…. When I told server she took dish back and brought back same dish took instead of making another dish… they tried taking some tomatoes n shuffled … that’s dishonestly…… they should have made new fajitas ..but other then that… taste and service was very good….

Excellent food and very friendly staff. Went on a Monday evening at 7 and it was busy which is a great sign. They have typical offerings you’d expect and our enchiladas were great, and they accommodated a slight menu change/substitution. There were quite a few staff around all staying busy. Parking was a bit tight. One less star because of menu pricing. $15 for enchiladas on the menu but they charged $20 which is 133%. I understand printed menus and price changes but that is a decent amount it should be brought up by servers. Our receipt didn’t say anything about a cost for substitution either it was just black beans instead of rice as the side.
