Public restroom

Nice view of the beach. There's a trail going down to the beach. Benches to sit and enjoy the view. Theres two available clean restrooms. Also a foot shower to rinse after a beach walk.

We were on our way back from Santa Barbara when one of our kids told us he had to go potty. So I parked right next to this public restroom. Well, there was a bit of a line, so our kid used our take-along squatty potty on the privacy of our Honda Odyssey’s trunk when I myself felt nature calling. So I proceeded to use this public restroom myself. I was pleasantly surprised. Upon entering a beach restroom, I generally expect an intriguing scent that is a combination of the essences of sand and urine, but no such scent was detected here! The restroom was also clean, and there was even soap in the soap dispenser! There were no paper towels in the paper towel dispenser, but that was OK because there was a handy hand dryer. Beautiful views of the ocean. If you stop there to use the restroom at the weekend, there's often a line becausebeach goers use it to change their clothes. Surfers are now poor and get changed near their cars

Being a very particular individual who refuses to use public restrooms, I have to say this was a very decent toilet. The stall was big and private. It was clean, there was ample toilet paper and soap. A definite yes if you find yourself in a “tight” spot.

Google has asked me to share details of my experience using this restroom. I will spare you the details of why I was there. I can say that when Mother Nature called this restroom was there to answer. Nice running water, only one ply toilet paper but hey you will use anything in a time of need. There are a few spider webs but mostly on the ceiling, a little bit of graffiti from hooligans marking up the world.
