After standing with 1500 other people smoking a cigarette in Washington Square park at 2:06pm on a Friday, we came to Pubkey for something to take the edge off. A subtle, cozy bar that is a perfect place to be ducked off after being around so many other human beings. You could really just chill in here, it felt like a bar that a classic early 2000s sitcom would take place in. I just smashed a couple seltzers, as I had to go back to work after. Randomly stopped in when she was setting up the bar and bugged her for a bit before the Trivia guy showed up who I believe was from “Maryland’ or Texas or something 😂 Wish I coulda stayed and got black out drunk but had to check into the hotel and explore a bit. If you’re ever in need of a place to shoot the shit with a rad bartender and do some day drinking to boot I do believe you can find this absolute Gem of a human Sundays and Mondays at least! We had our engagement party here and it was the best! Not one to write reviews but my fiance and I were so blown away by the people here we had to. Such a great place for events. The GM, August and all the bartenders were incredible. We were able to pick one of their cocktails for our specialty drink and they were super communicative of our bar tab, even storing our cake for us and letting us decorate. Thank you guys so much!! They made it such a great day to remember. We had 150 people and the space was awesome and the perfect size.

My friend and I went here last night and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff were great. The smash burgers and waffles fries were delicious. We will be visiting again!
