Providence Coal Fired Pizza

Stopped by for dinner on a casual Thursday. Was surprised to know we could order 2 kinds of pizzas in one, love that. Loved the thin crust. Efficient and friendly service, and the pizza came out pretty quickly. I would go back to try more from the menu. I saw another table with salads and they looked big and tasty.

It was ok. I think the lentil salad could use more lentils and veggies, it was mostly salad mix. The pizza looks a lot better than it was. It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. A bit greasy, skimpy on cheese, a tad chewy. The service, host appeared bored, waitress was nice but she could have checked on us, we flagged her down for a second drink. The hummus tasted good 👍

We got here at a fairly busy time since it was the night of a huge concert at the Amica Pavilion so we ate at the bar. We still had plenty of room. We each got a pizza, I got the pepperoni and it was so good. The pepperoni was cooked exactly how I like it, crispy on the edges. We got the brussel sprouts and they were probably the best over ever had. I would definitely go back here. Great atmosphere, good food, excellent service, and strong drinks.

A very nice atmosphere of service and great food. One of the few pizzerias that is solely dedicated to serving pizzas. The dough is handmade and tossed. What I like about their pizzas is that they don't overload it with cheese and put the right amount on it to coincide with the other toppings on it. Delicious pizza. Plan to go again.

Can’t go wrong here. There’s so many things to try I know I’ll be back. I just had a basic pepperoni pizza but it was great quality.
