Protocol

The food was okay but the atmosphere was great. The drink selection was also nice.

Protocol is sooo good! Our waitress was so friendly and helpful, and our food came out very quickly! I ordered the Smash burger, Caesar salad, crawfish chowder, and house made fries. Everything was so delicious, and I highly recommend to anyone who may be in town for college visits!

First time visit. Greeted warmly at the bar. Bartender was incredibly professional and their service was impeccable. Dishes and drinks came out quick and the place seemed to run like a well oiled and very clean machine. 10/10 would recommend. Perfect spot for a cozy romantic date night especially on a cold winter night.

Wonderful atmosphere and great service. Their smash burger is tied for #1 burger in my books. We also had the escargot, liver mousse, and fries. Everything was incredibly delicious. We liked our drinks, too! Between the apps and the burgers we were too stuffed to try the dessert. Definitely looking forward to our next visit!

Service was good, the waiters were friendly, and the atmosphere was nice, but the food didn’t live up to the hype. I ordered a vegetarian curry with basmati rice, and the vegetables were very hard—difficult to cut and chew. The French fries were dark brown and tasted like they had been refried rather than freshly made. I mentioned to the waiter that the vegetables didn’t seem cooked well. I was told they use organic vegetables from local farmers and that they tend to be harder than supermarket produce, but that explanation didn’t really make sense to me. I also expected some kind of discount on the bill given the issues, but none was offered. Overall, because of the food quality and how the situation was handled, I don’t plan to visit again
