My husband and I came here for the first time tonight and WOW I just found my new favorite restaurant. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. The flavor of the soup dumplings, the broth and the tender pork was incredible. Every single dish we got was a 100 out of 10, I can't wait to come back and try more. Prices are good and it's a really cute place. Great waiter/service too! Edited to add: since our first meal I've come back at least 4 more times and have tried many dishes with my husband and it is always absolutely delicious! Loving the new beef wrap! Thanks for the wonderful food.
Beef 🥩 soup it’s just amazing. Meet is so soft and tasty. They know who to do food. This is my fist time here and I’ll definitely come back. Staff member are so polite and helpful. Highly recommended place. Awesome Asian music. Not too loud. Just perfect.
Love the food and atmosphere here. The soup dumplings are delicious. My favorite meal is the Shrimp Noodle. Also, their takeout presentation is amazing. Most of the time, restaurants give you a paper bag, portions can seem smaller etc. Not here. The bag the takeout comes in is so nice, you will want to reuse it, and it is designed to keep your food warm. The chopsticks were actually good quality and the packaging the food was in kept the noodles separated from the sauce! 5 stars
It was literally so good. My friend and I like to try new places and this one by far has been my favorite. Their Hu Tong soup dumplings are literally so good 😩 especially during the colder weather. The Jang Jang Noodles were so good, the noodles were chewy and flavorful. Our server was so sweet. She even talk to us a little bit 😼 Totally worth it!
For a native Beijinger, the name of the restaurant evokes a sense of nostalgia for home. Upon entering, it feels like a warm and cozy little eatery. The staff are friendly and provide attentive service. The food tastes quite good. I ordered the hot and sour noodles, which were genuinely both sour and spicy—very satisfying to eat. The braised beef, however, wasn’t tender enough. This seems to be a common issue with braised beef in restaurants—prioritizing presentation over tenderness. The pickled vegetables tasted good but were a bit salty. In fact, it seems like all the dishes were on the salty side… very salty. That said, the overall experience was still quite good. The prices aren’t exactly cheap—this isn’t the kind of place where you can simply walk in, grab a steaming bowl of noodles
