Proper Food

I grabbed the Chimichurri Hanger Steak from Proper Food - 6th Ave through MealPal, and wow, what a colorful and flavorful combo! The kale and red potatoes paired perfectly with tender hanger steak and fresh parmesan. Healthy and seriously satisfying meal!

Awful experience. The person at the counter is very rude and impatient. When I got the food home, I found out that the box was not properly closed and all my food split out in the bag. And I threw them away. Horrible experience

This is not the best location. Small and cramped with extremely unhelpful and unfriendly staff. I had a poke salad and asked to use their guest wifi and was told no it’s only for customers. I was clearly sitting there after just purchasing my food. Would not return

MUST TRY PLACE. I had the chimichurri steak, potato and kale hot plate and it was amazing. Steak cooked to perfection, garlic potatoes were soft through and through, not typically a Kale person however it was great! everything was cooked was to perfection! If you do stop by make sure to say hello to Carmen and Alex as they’re such a pleasure to see everyday & they remember who you are which is really refreshing being in NYC. Thank you PF for becoming my Go-To lunch spot!

My daily go-to for lunch. The food is made of simple fresh ingredients, has plenty of veggies and so called superfoods, and is quite tasty. “Proper food” as promised! And the people who work there are pretty nice and easy going (& hard working). Thumbs up!
