Primo Water Ice

There’s a reason everyone in town loves Primo’s. Great selection of flavors, including rotating seasonal fall choices! I always choose them for custom ice cream cakes. Yesterday I realized I placed a wrong order and needed my cake one day early, and they were able to accommodate me. Truly excellent customer service in a pinch. And check out this amazing art on the cake! It was a crowd pleaser at friendsgiving.

I put 5 stars bc I’ve been going for years and their ice cream is the best!! BUT today the ice cream did not even touch the rim of the cup (it’s usually up to the lid) so it looked out of place and like it was missing and it was a large. So from now on, maybe I’ll just get a small or medium bc that was the amount I received today, sadly. We would normally leave with 4 larges and come back couple days later to restock lol bc they’re so good! But if the quantity goes down for the price that I pay then I may need to stick to smalls and unfortunately not go as often. I had to change it back to a 5 bc they deserve it, they’re always friendly and helpful! And someone even got back to me quickly!

My first and last visit to Primos unfortunately. I was taking my 5 year old daughter who wanted chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and was immediately told the freezer was broke and they didn’t have pretty much any of the hand dipped flavors. Then she wanted a cake batter flavored soft serve and told the flavored soft serve wasn’t available either. I had a gift card I just wanted to use so she got a basic soft serve and I got a scoop of the only hand dipped flavor available. Why bother opening the doors and paying for overhead if you can’t provide a full experience? There are plenty of better ice cream parlors in the area. If I didn’t have a gift card to use I probably would never have gone there and now I know why.

Great service, employees are kind,fast and efficient. A very small area of both indoor counter style and outdoor seating and an additional back area with tables and single restrooms. Very large Variety of water ice and ice cream. High quality but good prices. Often out of mint chocolate chip.

Their water ice makes the little kid in me smile. Employees are always kind. A gallon in the freezer at home is a must, kids love it when they come to visit.
