Absolutely amazing bakery! Everything looks and tastes incredible — from the baklava to the cakes and desserts, you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and authentic Turkish recipes. The presentation is beautiful, and the place itself is clean, bright, and welcoming. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. If you love fresh, rich desserts and unique flavors like pistachio, rose, and chocolate — this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended! 💛🇹🇷

I got baklava and rice puding from here and everything was really good very friendly service and i definitely recommend this place .

Great place to stop in for a quick bite and sweet craving. We had spinach and cheese börek as well as the soğuk (cold) baklava. If you’ve never tried “cold” baklava you need to. It’s a wet and milky version of the baklava we all know and love. Pair it with a cup (or two) of warm Turkish tea. A wonderful and friendly woman named Firdevs will greet you with the warmest smile. Definitely check it out.

Basak Turkish Bakery is here with its new look! Everything is absolutely amazing delicious desserts, traditional baklava and varieties, milk desserts, and perfectly balanced cakes. For breakfast, they have fresh simit, poğaça, and açma. And of course, authentic Turkish coffee! I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing all these wonderful flavors.

Basak Bakery in Westmont is more than a bakery — it’s an experience of true Turkish hospitality right here in South Jersey. From the moment I walked in, the owner welcomed me with such warmth and genuine kindness. I was looking for homemade Turkish delicacies to bring to someone I’m meeting for the first time who is from Turkey, and she thoughtfully guided me through everything. She even offered to prepare a special dish with red lentils, potatoes, tomato, and onion just for the occasion. The shop itself is beautiful, filled with stunning sweets including incredible baklava. Before I left, she poured me a cup of Turkish Tea! I left feeling cared for, excited, and deeply appreciative. Basakl is a true treasure — delicious, authentic, and full of heart. I can’t wait to return.
