Prima Cantina

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Prima Spumoni is one of those rare spots where Italian soul and Mexican flavor somehow blend perfectly, not in a weird fusion way, but in a “wait… this actually works and it’s amazing” way. The first thing I noticed is this place has real character, not that copy paste trendy café vibe, you walk in and it feels warm, like someone actually cares. The food is honestly the reason I’m writing this, everything tastes fresh, real, and made with intention, the Italian side is comforting and done right, the Mexican influence adds that extra kick and depth, but it doesn’t overpower anything, portions are solid, flavors are balanced, nothing tastes rushed or lazy. Coffee and dessert deserve a shout too, espresso is strong and clean, and the spumoni / sweets are straight up dangerous if

Well stocked cantina with a great atmosphere and excellent food, deserts and coffee. Worth a drive if you’re in west LA and want to support the revival of beautiful Pacific Palisades. Ask for Roger and Cesar.

I live in Pacific Palisades and before the fires, I frequently prima Cantina and love their chicken enchiladas yesterday I ordered their chicken enchiladas, and they were not good at all. I was not able to eat them. They were dry, doughy very disappointed. I will not be back.

Chips n salsa, crispy chips and a pretty good red salsa. Double Cadillac margarita by Nadir. George Clooney sponsors the restaurant. Ordered the carnitas plate w/ a grilled jalapeño on the side. Looks yummy. Ok, carnitas plate: a bit salty, but still not bad. Now I'm feeling thirsty from the salt, so I'll have another Cadillac margarita, double. ($24) They have a habanero salsa, pretty spicy. They closed early, not much traffic. Dinner, drinks, conversation for $100 tip included. Overall, I've had better food for less, but this is the Pacific Palisades.

Incredible food! Our server, Cesar was fantastic! Such a treat to be eating in the Palisades.
