The food was excellent. We ate here two nights in a row during our stay at the lodge. Ordered burgers on the first night and ordered the New York Steak the second. Both were cooked to perfection. My only complaint was the time it took to get our food. The first night we arrived right after open and waited a good deal of time on our burgers while others that came in after us received their food. The second night we arrived an hour before closing. I think it had been hectic and again the server apologized for our wait, but I think the kitchen was really behind and I was really getting hangry after a long day racing.
Enjoy the delicious salmon dinner here during the building best practices conference. The Cat salmon was cooked perfectly, the food was very flavorful. The bourbon smashed cocktail was also full of flavor with fresh blueberries and mint. The waitress got our food quickly and was friendly. All around a great experience!
We ate here last year because it was right downstairs and every night I had the salmon. Tonight I had the short ribs and omg, so good. I’m also someone who usually won’t eat at places below 4.5 stars, yeah I know, but convenience won this time & last and I would have only hurt myself not coming here. Delicious food and the staff is always super kind and helpful. I will likely have the short rib tomorrow to.
Servers and food were nice, but the hostess with brown curly hair and glasses was exceptionally rude. We made a reservation, but ended up bringing one extra person. This was apparently unacceptable and gave her the right to talk down to us and treat us like garbage, even though she had okayed this at the host stand when we first arrived. She ended up coming up to us in the middle of our meal to tell us the table shouldn’t be the way it was and the table was not meant to accommodate as many people as we had, but gave no resolution on how to fix it. Essentially, she just wanted to be rude and make us feel bad. Everyone else was very nice.
Horrible breakfast. Basically heated up Sysco slop. I got the fried chicken Benedict. It was two frozen chicken fingers with rock hard over cooked poached eggs. I got sick after. Don’t go.
