We celebrated Valentine’s Day and my fiancé’s birthday at Press, and it exceeded our expectations. I’ll admit I was a little nervous going in after reading some reviews about service, but our experience couldn’t have been better. The service was warm, attentive, and perfectly paced — especially impressive on such a busy holiday. The food was excellent across the board. The caviar pretzel was a standout and such a fun, elevated bite to start the meal. The truffle chicken was another highlight — perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The wagyu beef was delicious. We also opted for the wine pairing, which was thoughtfully curated and complemented each course beautifully. Overall, it felt like a special, memorable evening and the perfect place to celebrate. We’ll absolutely be back.

Absolutely exceptional and undeniable! 10000000000% deserving of their Michelin star. We had the four course prefix menu, so we got 8 different dishes to taste and it was nothing short of one of the best culinary adventures were had. Each dish was so well crafted and executed. We had a butternut squash soup, the green curry with lobster, pork, ricotta, waygu tartar, the chicken, the monkfish and the chocolate mouse as well poached apple and yuzu sorbet. Each with its own level of depth and flavor. Our favorite was the black truffle chicken. They build such a thick outter layer with the skin and glaze, cradling that slow roasted moisture rich tender chicken breast. The service was quick, precise, helpful and knowledgeable. Top 5 meal of my life. Would so recommend!!!

We came here for a Valentine’s Day dinner and to celebrate my husband's birthday and we had such a lovely experience from start to finish. We were seated promptly at 5pm, and our server, Bridget, was incredibly warm and welcoming. She had a full section and was clearly busy, yet she stopped by multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly — she made it all look effortless. We opted for the Chef’s 7-course tasting menu with the caviar pretzel add-on. The pretzel is an absolute must-order — OMG. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and nutty on the inside, and the crème fraîche paired beautifully with the caviar. My husband added the truffle supplement to the pasta dish, but we both agreed the standard gnudo actually tasted better as-is. Also, the truffle wasn’t weighed tables

Our experience was exceptional at PRESS. Our server was Aaron (might not be spelled correctly) and he did an incredible job! Every dish was timed perfectly and the food was lovely. We also had a bottle of wine from a local region and wine maker recommended by Aaron that we loved. We plan to come back to Napa in the fall and this will definitely be on our list of places to return to. Thank you for making our evening so special!

The vibe feels upscale and polished without being stiff, and for a Michelin-starred restaurant, the pricing was honestly more reasonable than expected. Service really stood out. There were more servers than guests that night, so everything felt calm, attentive, and never rushed. One confusing moment before arriving: we booked for a Monday night, but both Google Maps and the website said they were closed on Mondays. With no direct phone number to call, we almost didn’t go. Glad we trusted the reservation and showed up. We did the four-course tasting menu and enjoyed it a lot. Everything was well paced and thoughtfully done. Next time, we’d love to come back and try the seven-course menu.
