Prescott Valley Public Library

When I lived in PV, I was at this library all the time. It is a large open building which doesn't feel crowded and they have an impressive book and media selection. I attended some of the knitting groups and classes they hosted there and always had a great time and learned something new. The staff is always amazing. They have a hard and busy job and they handle it with grace. I deeply appreciate libraries and this one is no exception, a great place to be! During school, you will have teenagers there throughout the day, or after class lets out because of the proximity to the high school, but they don't disrupt other patrons there and they mind the rules of keeping it down. The Prescott Valley Public Library is such a treasure for our community! The staff is absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and truly dedicated to connecting people with the resources they need. My son recently decided he wanted to learn guitar, and I was amazed to find out that the library has musical instruments available for checkout. I walked up to the Information Desk and asked about it, and the librarian who helped me was so kind and knowledgeable. She checked the system, confirmed a guitar was available, and even helped me set up a library card on the spot since I didn’t have one yet. I would highly recommend visiting this library and also using their services online. I use their online system to put books on hold. The holding shelf is separate from all the other books so it’s perfect to grab your books that you have on hold and check out. They have self checkout and you can also check out with staff. I suggest checking out their bookstore, too! I purchased 13 books for $9 (adult paperbacks) and all books are in really good condition. They have a “bargain corner” which is more of a wall and the books are 50 cents!!! This is such a clean library and I’ve sat in there a few times to read multiple times and I find the interactions of the staff to be very friendly.

Art is at libraries and check this one out. You can take print of art pieces and take your kids to find them around the library These pics were on the outside and it was a nice.walk and alot to see.
