I stopped into this little pizzeria to try the fresh mozzarella slice. The owner proudly announced that they had just come out of the oven, he makes the mozzarella in house and he sprinkles a generous amount of grana padana on each slice for a little extra flavor. The slice was amazing. Crispy crust with amazing flavor in every bite. Highly recommend this spot.

I usually prefer New York-style pizza. This place, with its square Roman pizza (similar to Sicilian, but better imo) has ruined all other pizza for me. At $5.50 a square (which is about as filling as one and a half NY slices) this place is also a lot cheaper than most non-dollar-slice spots in Manhattan. And the owner, Luigi, is a great host. In a neighborhood with a lot of turnover, I hope this place lasts a while. A great addition to East Village’s diverse food scene.

A fantastic new addition to the neighborhood. Luigi is the greatest. He's been cooking in nyc for years, and recently moved back from Hudson Valley and opened this pizza spot to be closer to his son. They make roman style pizza, and also sell fresh mozzarella and tomato sauce for fantastic prices. A must hit spot if you live in the area and appreciate a good culinary experience!

this pizzeria serves pizza like I've never tasted before. From their perfectly crafted dough to their unique and flavorful toppings, every bite is equally delicious. It's my goto spot at least once a week!
