Potbelly

Stopped by here for lunch with the grandkids as they have a kids menu. I ordered the regular Mediterranean which was ok fine. The kids had grilled cheese. They were not too much liking the sandwich it was too much bread/ crunchy not a typical grilled sandwich. They did enjoy the cookie and the apple sauce. The clerk was very friendly, efficient, and polite. The facility was clean and orderly. I had been to similar stores in the past but not this one.

I was getting sandwiches here for BOGO and two women outside approached me asking for food because they lost their jobs and home apparently. I gave them my extra sandwich because hard to say no. I saw them a few minutes later leaving Potbelly with sodas (one bottled and one pot belly cup). With a few minutes of thought, I called the store to confirm if they asked for free sodas or bought it and wanted to confirm if this is normal. I know there was a female worker who serviced me my sandwiches but the male worker on the phoneline said there's no female coworker and was hostile when I inquired about these 2 women. He asked "what's it to you?" And I said "I just lost a sandwich and want to know!" When he lied not having a female coworker, I called him out for lying and said thank you, goodbye

Good sandwich! Got the turkey with avocado. The trick is to load up on condiments and toppings. Last time I ordered the wreck and neglected to do so resulting in a pretty bland sandwich. The sandwiches are bare bones unless you remember to customize them to your liking. I ended up getting the turkey with avoado, and added hot peppers, mayo, mustard, and lettuce and the resulting product was delicious!

I asked upon three separate deliveries in a row for my cheese to be cheddar, not provolone. It is a pretty simple request considering everything else they get correct. I give up.

The food quality has definitely gone downhill in the past 6 months. No coincidence they were just acquired by another company. Also over $20 for a combo is pretty steep pricing.
