Portneuf District Library

The library feels like a family. We love coming here and appreciate the kind and knowledgeable workers. Miss Amanda’s story and music time is just the best. There is something to do for all ages. We love “grab and go” activities for kids. I’m so grateful for the time and efforts that the workers put into our community. Such a blessing for all of us.

This is a cool, clean and quiet library. The craft area is super fun and useful for adults as well as kids. I only take off a star because their selection of books is rather small (granted, the library is small). There is a decent selection of audio books though, compared to what I've seen at even larger libraries. They do regular events for both kids and adults. Service dog friendly. Staff ignored the SD (thank you). It was a nice change of pace to not hear people scream "puppy!", but instead whisper it. A nice, low stress environment.

Absolutely wonderful and cute kids room. My kids were able to play and have so much fun while my wife and I took turns browsing the library. Library staff so friendly and helpful

Such a fun little library! There is something for everyone! We spent time in the children's section and it was amazing! I signed up for a card to be able to take my little there for books! You can check out cake pans, yard games, board games, DVDS and, of course, many, many books!! Definitely a hidden gem in the community!

Such a cute, sweet library! They have an adorable room for children, plenty of dvds to rent, and a wall of board games to enjoy. It is also nice to see all the community events posted here. The library is quiet and peaceful. They offer several different activities to for kids and families.
