Poke Bowl

I was really disappointed with my experience here. I ordered a large $20 poke bowl, and the portion size was shockingly small. The bowl itself wasn’t even filled — there was a lot of empty space, which made it feel like they were intentionally skimping on ingredients. There was barely any fish in the bowl, which is the whole point of ordering poke. Instead, it was mostly rice. And the rice itself was the cheapest possible filler. Honestly, I’m surprised they didn’t try to cut costs further by stuffing the bowl with broken rice. For the price they’re charging, the portion and quality are unacceptable. A $20 poke bowl should feel generous and balanced — not like you’re paying premium prices for mostly rice and almost no fish. Definitely not ordering from here again.

Hi Family I was actually looking for a place to eat. That was pretty good. Didn’t feel like eating no fried food or fast food so I just happen to see this place called poke bowl walked and placed my order. It was cool you put your order an a paper. It has a very nice atmosphere. You get to choose your sides. I must say if you’re looking for a good place to eat that is not fried you wanna stop by poke bowl this place is the bomb.

The food here is amazing — I order almost daily. However, one time a “Buy 1, Get 1 Free” promotion wasn’t applied, and Uber Eats (who manages the order) didn’t process the refund after 48 hours. Not the store’s fault, but it did hurt the experience a bit. Still, great food and I’ll keep coming back!

This is a prime example of someone taking hawaiian food and calling it "fresh" to promote a lie. They added a nice asian twist to a "poke bowl" but the fish here is pre frozen pre cut. How do I know? I watched their delivery go right by us while waiting for the food. Pre-cut frozen tuna boxes frozen hamachi, crab, and god knows what. I know sources are limited in the city but if you are going to label your food "fresh" than by all means pay for it! Im from hawaii, I am a born native hawaiian and places like "foodland" would blow this place away like a tropical breeze. Sorry poke bowl but you haven't figured it out yet

People often write 2 types of reviews; Excellent and Near Death Experience. This is the latter. Hence, lesson learned; why did I even bother; and utterly disappointed are what I felt when I received my Poke Bowl from Poke Bowl. When Poke Bowl opened several years ago, they were our go-to choice when we crave for poke. Sadly, their quality and quantity have dropped, if not entirely, then almost entirely. Poke size should be bite size, and quality should be fresh because, essentially, it is Raw Fish. I ordered the large bowl with spicy tuna, salmon, scallop, hamachi, seaweed salad, scallions, onions, avocado, edamame, kimchi, Wasabi and ginger.
