Colma Cafe, I thought it was something new. But this is actually the cafe/restaurant inside Lucky Chances Casino. Which I’ve had their food in the past. I remember the food being really good especially tho r fried rice. But this time it was just ok. We ordered a couple of their silogs( tapsilog and Longsilog), we also had got spaghetti and fried tofu. The Longsilog was good. But I’m disappointed at the tapsilog. The meat looked and tasted like it was a day old. The fried tofu was not crispy. We did love the spaghetti though. It was Filipino style spaghetti but it wasn’t too sweet and the cheese went well with the sauce. We loved it. The service was ok too. There was no line and the food was ready in 15 mins. Maybe next time it’ll be a better experience.
The Kare Kare sauce was good. I wish the oxtail was more tender, same with the pork sinigang. The beef caldereta wws very good tho. The service is good.
I’m disappointed at the service I received this evening for food pick up. We chose cafe colma because they are local, Filipino run, and hours are listed as 24/7. placed an order because my spouse said he could go pick it up and was headed out the door. But, since he worked in the hospital and had an emergency come up he got held back for an hour and a half and where they called me twice and I picked up the phone both time. I told them the best estimates for when my spouse could arrive based on my best knowledge. On the second call, the rude worker rushed me to get there. I need to pick it up, she said, because it’s been more than the 15 minutes she quoted me on the phone. I asked her what the problem was, and tried to allow her to make it customer focused by asking if the issue that it
We came here for breakfast as we wanted Filipino food. We were seated right away. There is plenty of seating. The staff are friendly and attentive. My coffee ☕️ cup never ran dry. We had Lechon Kawali, Tapsilog, Longsilog, Garlic Fried Rice, and Wonton Soup 🍲 . All the food was well prepared and delicious!! I give a strong recommendation for any interested takers to eat here!! Located inside the Lucky Chances Casino in Colma, California.
Solid spot for late night eats post club when we were in our 20s. Lots of people come here before or after the airport since they’re 24 hours. They have American, Filipino, and Chinese food. I love getting their silogs - meat, sunny side up egg, garlic fried. I like their tocino and bangus. They’re known for their kare kare and spaghetti. Their bangus Sisig is good and one time we just asked for Sabaw. The staff are super friendly and for birthdays we got a cheesecake! They have halo halo here too. Located at the lucky chances casino across from the cemetery. There’s a parking garage as well as parking lot outside and surrounding.
