Açaí Pura Vida bowl was awesome. Initially when I saw $13 for the bowl I thought it was a lot but you get a pretty decent size bowl. Service was fast and inside had some really cool decorations. I will definitely be back.
Always so warm and welcoming. Quality ingredients and consistently delicious. The staff are super friendly and even my three year old loves their bowls! I will add that I also got a cold pressed juice so that’s why my coat was higher. Avg cost of bowls as they come is $13 which is great for a bowl and they are pretty substantial. It can add up with extras at $1/addition but there’s such a good variety of pre designed bowls there’s usually something for everyone. The juices do run more at 6.99 for a 12oz 7.99 for a 16oz or 8.99 for a 20oz. I got a 20oz and a bowl with 2 additions so mine was about $25 total
Playa Bowls is a new addition outside of the UMass Amherst campus, with fresh acai bowls as well as smoothies and other items to the area. The staff are very nice, helping to accommodate for changes or additions to the bowls, as well as explaining the ingredients used very well. The production of bowls was quick as well, as we received it within 5 minutes. The bowls were a good size for the price, with a good amount of toppings and ingredients mixed in throughout. Overall, the taste was good and pretty healthy. Overall, a great addition to the area and a good place to visit.
Food is great but service very poor. The young girls I've encountered are very unfriendly. I feel like I'm inconveniencing them when I go in there. Pulse and Kwench have great drinks and way better customer service. I recommend going there instead!
I love this place so much. Any time I walk in here I feel a waft of happiness overcome me. This place exerts the best happiness and joy I could ever imagine. As soon as I think about going, it will happen and that’s the only thing I talk about for days leading up and months after. The. I continue to go because it is so good. Also the food is absolutely amazing. Yum. So if you are unsure if you want to come here I VERY strongly recommend. This is our bowls one second into getting them. They are so so so good. I love you playa bowls
