PJ's Coffee

I was in Baltimore today and forgot to stop n get coffee and didn't want to wait to get coffee when I got home. Its over and a half drive home so I googled and found this place. Super glad they have the drive thru setup to show how the flow is supposed to be. I was a little confused I didn't know NOLA had native drinks and wasn't really quite sure what to even order. So I went on a total whim with this but it turned out pretty good. I tried the chocolate velvet ice with cold brew cream instead of whipped cream. I needed a mid afternoon slump pick me up. This drink honestly tasted exactly like McDonald's mocha frappe (I don't go to McDonald's to eat n don't even go there for the frappe anymore either as it did nothing for my caffeine need) and as their frappe don't help with the pick me up,

Employees were very rude. We were on a lunch break and needed to use the bathroom, this was the 5th place we had visited (the others were out of service or non existent). We work outside and there is no opportunity otherwise for us to use the bathroom. They stated we needed to make a purchase, which is a completely understandable policy. One of my coworkers decided to pay for something for everyone - and while we were waiting to use the bathroom I could hear the employees complaining about the way she asked if she needed to pay separately for everyone to be able to use the bathroom or if we could just do it as one transaction. She asked very kindly, if anything rushed because she had to use the bathroom pretty badly. But even if she didn’t, there was no reason for them to be talking about

I really like this location. It is calm, quiet and festive. I love the decorations whenever there is a holiday and a special occasion. My favorites are of course the warm, flaky and yummy signature Beignets and any flavor Velvet Ice. This delicious frozen beverage is blended to perfection. So rich, creamy and smooth. Get your coffee served any way you like it! Enjoy!

Lights are too bright, staff is fairly friendly and difficulty getting a decaf mocha for my wife. Cappuccino needed an extra shot. We won’t drive here again

I visited PJ's on a whim a few weeks back. Although I didn't plan on staying initially, their vibe made me. I caught up with my book while munching their humble but delicious Spinach Feta pie. Located in a really narrow street, entering and exiting can be a tad painful but once you're in, it's easy to navigate. They have both drive-through and dine-in options but I'd recommend dining in as the parking lot felt cramped and not recommended on a hot day. I'll certainly visit them again another day.
