We had a disappointing experience here overall. We started with the Special Biryani that came with goat, chicken, and shrimp. The taste was quite good — aromatic and well-seasoned — but the portion was shockingly small for the $19 price tag. It was served on a single plate with very limited quantity (photo attached), definitely not worth the cost. Next, we tried the Chicken 65 Biryani. The chicken pieces were large and didn’t resemble authentic Chicken 65 — they lacked the crispiness and flavor you’d expect. Worst of all, we found a hair in the biryani, which was completely unacceptable. For $17.99, the quantity was again disappointing. We also ordered Chilli Chicken, which tasted fine, but the portion size was again very underwhelming. On top of all that, the service was extremely poo
Ordered take-out which consisted of butter chicken, Chana (garbanzo beans), paneer and tandoori roti. The most edible thing was the chicken which tasted like they used a can of Prego to enhance the tomato flavor; the channa was inedible- they decided to chunks of mango pickle into the dish. Who puts mango pickle inside a dish? The paneer was soggy mess of mostly onions and the roti was raw. Avoid
I've ordered thrice from Kabob & curry and the food didn't disappoint even once. Lunch specials are my go-to as they're budget friendly and value for the money. I recommend the Vegan Lunch Special priced at $15. It comes with 2 curries (Channa Masala & Palak Paneer) & 1 appetizer (Onion Pakora), served with a huge naan and a good quantity of rice. Everything in the box tasted delicious with plenty of leftovers. Their tandoori chicken was delicious as well but too oily for my liking. Service is pretty fast and the food quality has been consistent through all my orders.
Delicious food! Especially the Tikka! But the jazz music was disappointing... sounded like a Starbucks. Where's the Punjabi MC?
Stumbled across this place by accident. Really intended to go to a different Indian restaurant. We got the butter chicken and the lamb cashew. Both were really good. We ate there. Little odd eating off of paper plates, but it was very good. They give you plenty of naan with your dinner. Overall, they should do something about the lighting. It is really bright. But the food is good.
