PizzaPapalis & Rio Wraps of Bloomfield

Pizza was amazing! My husband can usually eat a whole pizza by himself and here he could only eat half of a small. We did delivery to our hotel so I can't speak to any atmosphere questions. We honestly wanted to eat it twice in the 4 days we were in the area but never managed to make it back there.

We love Pizza Papalis! We don’t come too often as it’s a bit far away from us, but it is what my mom requests for her birthday every year! We most often order pick up and the service is always very good! Kind and helpful at the pick up counter and of course the food is GREAT! We always get a large deep dish and a salad and it lasts us two to three days (with two people). Ordering online was also a breeze!

This was the very first place I ever tried Chicago-style pizza - and I was instantly hooked! These guys are a true Detroit original, yet they’ve absolutely mastered the art of this iconic Chicago pie. The crust, the sauce, the balance of ingredients - everything is spot on and these pies are heavy! I’ve been to a few of their Greater Detroit locations and the quality is always consistent. The irony isn’t lost on me: a Detroit pizza maker serving up some of the best Chicago-style pizza I’ve ever had… and I say that as someone who also loves Detroit-style pizza. Whether you're a deep-dish fan or just curious, this place is a must-try for any pizza lover!

I love Pizza Papalis. Too much probably. BUT I really love this particular location because of how laid back it is, but everyone working is awesome. I have to give a major shout out to Conner for going above and beyond with making things right. I had an issue with a pizza and he was super responsive, listened intently, and got me a fresh pizza. Thank you, Conner!

Only delivery is DoorDash now. That’s fine! Except we want half cheese half pepperoni on a $40 pizza. Called to see if they can. Manager says DoorDash doesn’t have option. Is it that hard? Well 3 pizzas and bread sticks aren’t worth the little hassle I guess. Oh well. Jets it is I guess.
