We had an absolutely amazing experience at Pithari! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully authentic. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every dish tasted authentic and made with care, from the perfectly seasoned entrees to the delicious appetizers. You can truly tell they use high-quality ingredients and put passion into every plate. The service was fast without feeling rushed, and the overall dining experience was top-notch. Whether you’re going for a casual dinner or a special night out, this place delivers every time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Mediterranean food in Middletown. We will definitely be coming

Our table wasn't ready for a while but the staff kept us informed as well as apologized over and over. The staff and ambiance is definitely 5 stars. Then the food was another 5 stars. It was a great dining experience. It also helps that the restaurant is so beautiful and quaint-ideal for a first impression date night.

We went during Valentine's Day and paid $70 for my meal. I have traveled all over the world and had lamb in every country, the lamb here was very gamey. Not only could you NOT order from the menu, it was limited to lunch or the $70/per person menu, but our food took over am hour! From eating in Dubai, Korea, Germany, Italy, France, Hawaii, and different places in the U.S. I would NOT recommend eating here or if you do, pass on the lamb!

If you are driving toward New York, you MUST stop at Pithari. The exterior is beautiful and romantic, and the two-story interior is decorated with gorgeous Monstera-style lighting and lush plants. I sat upstairs and loved the "low-key Casablanca" glamour of the staircase. The Filo Feta is a must-order (get extra honey!), but the Branzino stole the show. It was a masterpiece of flavor with perfectly crunchy skin. I felt like I was being fed by the gods themselves! Huge portions, incredible staff, and an atmosphere that makes you feel both relaxed and excited.

Pithari has a pleasant, well-designed ambiance that immediately stands out and makes for a comfortable dining experience. The place itself is warm and inviting. The food, however, did not quite meet expectations. The dishes we ordered were average in taste and lacked the impact we were hoping for. That said, it’s possible we didn’t choose their best or signature items. Overall, Pithari is worth appreciating for its ambiance, and a revisit with recommended dishes might offer a better food experience.
