Pop In Artisan Pops

Spotted their food truck at the art fair and couldn't resist trying their strawberry cheesecake which I topped with graham cracker pieces—it was delicious, complete with a fresh strawberry! Already counting down the days until I can swing by their shop for more tasty treats. I ate it quickly and totally missed the chance to capture a photo. UPDATE: I stopped by the shop. Delicious as usual. I love this place. The almond pistachio flavor was delicious. Pumpkin flavor was also yummy!!!

You can never go wrong with the Oreo pop. It has such a great balance of being creamy but slightly icy, not overly sweet, and the perfect size to be fully satisfied after eating one. Chocolate and key lime are also favorites of mine. The peaches and cream was only okay. The peaches were hard to eat (which is fully understandable as it’s frozen) but the ice cream part was slightly bland. I don’t know that I would get this flavor again, but honestly I’ve enjoyed every other flavor that I have gotten from them. They also have a plethora of toppings to add if you desire to do so. One small thing I noticed was that staff didn’t change their gloves as often as they maybe should have. I absolutely adore Pop In! Super surprised to read they were open on Easter Sunday, so my husband and I made a quick visit. This is a true hidden Middletown gem. The ice cream pops are just incredible. My fave is a make your own with an Oreo pop dipped in cookie butter, covered in fluff that is torched to perfection, and dredged in sprinkles. We don’t indulge often, but when my husband and I want something sweet, this is the answer!

Cute, quaint, and definitely an NYC artisan vibe!! Such a HUGE selection. Many cool selections are available for you to choose from. Pros: Mango was absolutely delectable and had me wanting another one. Con: Pink Lemonade was the least of my favorite. The gentleman at the counter was extremely helpful and professional! His parents did an awesome job nurturing this young man. He knew everything about the business and with confidence. Go "Pop In" and get these deliciously 😋 unique flavored Popsicles!

When I first entered the store there was only one person serving people and the line definitely backed up but eventually another person from the back came and it helped out a good bit. I was pleasantly surprised to how good the pops tasted. I had the banana hazelnut fudge as well as the apple pie dipped in cookie butter. Prices are more than reasonable. Will definitely be back in the future.
