Customer Reviews
I haven’t posted any reviews in a while as nothing was of caliber!!! BUT…. This Place is it! The owner is super welcoming… even let me try a fresh falafel, which was amazing! Not oily at all! Perfect balance of herbs… It was the beef shawarma in a pita this time!!! So much meat! So much flavor! Love love love it! And the pita was fresh and flavorful! Garlic sauce was on point as well! Family ran and owned since 1998! Get here now!!!
Pita Pockets truly exceeded my expectations! The beef shawarma was absolutely amazing — perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor in every bite. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into their food. And the Knafeh Nazareth? One of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced sweetness, crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy on the inside — just incredible.
I’ve been coming here for the past 20 years since going to school across the street at CSUN. You will not find better Middle Eastern flavor, great atmosphere, and most importantly, nicer staff. The new owner, Richard, has kept the same high quality ingredients, including the pickled radish and fried pita chips, and has excelled at providing great service and a welcoming environment. The Laffa is still made fresh to order and there is nothing like taking a bite of warm freshly made bread in the traditional way. The food is excellent. A must try if you’re in the valley.
Good pocket Very authentic Middle Eastern Shwarma like the good villages in Nazareth. All bread is baking on spot.. Amazing team, big portions! Very welcome
Absolutely fantastic spot. We tried the schnitzel and the pita shawarma, and everything was so good. The real standout for me was the bread — I’ve honestly never tasted bread quality like this before. You can tell it’s made in-house, and it makes a huge difference. Fresh, soft, and incredibly flavorful. The place was also very clean, and the staff were super nice and polite, which made the whole experience even better. I really, really liked this place and will definitely be back.
