PITA Mediterranean Street Food - College Park

The restaurant is bright, clean, and modern. The food tasted incredible. The gyro meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the hummus was smooth, flavorful, and served with warm pita that made it impossible not to finish every bite. The service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, patient, and attentive, happy to answer questions and offer recommendations. My order came out quickly, and everything was prepared exactly as requested. It’s clear they take pride in both their food and their customer experience.

Ordered the Chicken Greek Salad and Beef Gyro, always delicious! Love this place and pretty much every location is consistent. *Also people are not robots, you do not NEED a smile for a person to cook and hand over your food. A simple greeting and exchange are enough. People are so exhausting 🙃 complaining about teenagers not smiling.

I ordered a chicken platter in store with rice and salad & extra sauce on the side (in addition to the sauce that comes on top of the chicken) in person at the counter. When I returned home (20 minute drive) I noticed I had received the lamb gyro meat (I do not eat lamb) instead of chicken and no salad dressing. I returned to the store and showed my receipt and he proceeded to give me a container of chicken on the side in a container (some of which is partially shredded) instead of on a kebab . At this point, my rice is cold, and my salad is room temperature & my food is not prepared as it should have been but with that being the only option provided, I just decided to be cordial & take the container of chicken and make this my last visit.

Delicious food. Whether it's authentic the jury is still out but the food is good and flavorful. The prices are pretty standard. But again the good is good...I went two days in a row. Both days both cashiers were pleasant, helpful, and courteous. I highly recommend this place and if I'm in the area again and need dinner this will be my go to place

Parking: Free parking. The place is located inside Walmart. Service: You have a choice to order at the Kiosk or counter. No comment on services. Food: It was okay. It was my fault for not ordering the sauce on the side. The gyro had more sauce than meat. The fries were too salty for me. I will try again with the sauce on the side.
